This tool of Pragmatic, Reflexive and Experimental Sociology is typicaly designed to analyse corpus of texts, with various authors and dates. The software can process data in French, English, German and Spanish (and in fact, any other languages - but the user will have to completely encode his/her own dictionaries, category systems and morpho-syntactical features). Its leading objective is to help researcher to build strong and valid interpretations of his/her data. The interface is composed of dialogs boxes that compare - for each result - the text and the categories of the scientist. Results are featured in lists or tables.

The core of Prospero, called Caliban, is developped in C++. It's completed by Tiresias (a kind of Python "webcrawler" allowing to keep your corpus up-to-date by monitoring the daily press releases), by Chéloné (a library of archive corpus files already processed) and by Marlowe (a virtual socio-detective for heuristics, made of Lisp and Polar - an home-made language).
